New books added to Illinois Scholarship Online

More than 20 new books are now available on Illinois Scholarship Online (ILSO), adding to the Art, Education, Film, Television, and Radio, History, Literature, Music, Society and Culture, and Sociology modules.

These books cover a diverse range of subjects, from the conservative revolution in education in the 1970s and 80s to the effects of the economic crisis of the 2000s on the representation of marginalized people in popular media, and from a feminist view of the manliness represented by the National Football League to the women from diverse religious, social, and political backgrounds that make up the American antiabortion movement.
