What's new in January 2018

Eleven new books are now available on Illinois Scholarship Online (ILSO), adding to the Anthropology, History, Literature, Music, Society and Culture, and Sociology modules.

These books cover a diverse range of subjects, from the role of clan in the Somali diaspora to the dramatic story of the Chicago-based Associated Negro Press (ANP), and from the development of African American women as public intellectuals to anarchism's endurance as a political and cultural ideology and movement in New York from the 1870s to 2011.
