What's new in September 2018

Twenty books have been published on Illinois Scholarship Online (ILSO) this month, adding to the Sociology, History, Music, and Society and Culture modules. These books cover a diverse range of subjects, from James Baldwin’s work in the 1980s to Latinas/os in the Midwest, and from the fight for Asian American civil rights in the first half of the 20th century to the musical evolution of postwar spirituals.
