What's new in May 2021

Nineteen books have been published on Illinois Scholarship Online (ILSO) this month, adding to the History, Literature, Music, Society and Culture, and Sociology subject modules.

These books cover a diverse range of subjects, from the philanthropic work of Madam C. J. Walker to theories of community-centered journalism, and from black queer freedom to the rise of China's technology giant, Huawei.
